- The President of the Foundation Picasso Museum Málaga, Rosa Torres, and the President of Novasoft, Francisco Barrionuevo, signed last Monday December 17th a collaboration agreement between both institutions. With this agreement, Novasoft went on to become a partner of the museum’s group of sponsors.
- By this agreement, Novasoft commits to provide 180,000 euro per annum for five years, an amount that will contribute to the museum’s good operation and the developing of cultural activities.
With this agreement, Novasoft becomes the eighth institution to form part of the Picasso Museum’s Council of Sponsors. The company thus commits to the promotion of Picasso’s work and the programming of cultural activities in the museum. In this regard, Novasoft will provide an annual amount of 180,000 euro until 2012, 35,000 in cash and 145,000 for the implementation and maintenance of new technologies in the museum.
The President of the Foundation Picasso Museum Málaga, Rosa Torres, and the President of Novasoft, Francisco Barrionuevo, signed this agreement during a ceremony attended by the President of the museum’s Executive Board, Bernard Ruiz-Picasso; Unicaja’s President, Braulio Medel; and the Director of the museum, Bernardo Laniado-Romero. With this agreement Novasoft joins Unicaja, RTVA, Fundación Aena, Diputación de Málaga, Grupo Joly, Cervezas San Miguel y Vocento as sponsoring partners of the museum.
Founded in 1993 in Málaga, Novasoft offers Strategic and Technological consulting, as well as consulting services on Quality and Environment, Information Technologies, Geomarketing, Security, Communications and Capacity Building. Throughout these years, Novasoft’s hard work and social commitment have been awarded several recognitions such as the Premio Andaluz a la Excelencia Empresarial (Andalusian Award on Business Excellence) granted by the Junta de Andalucía (Andalusian Governing Board); the Premio al Compromiso Social y de Creación de Empleo (Social Commitment and Employment Creation Award), granted by the Confederación Española de Jóvenes Empresarios (Spanish Association of Young Entrepeneurs); and the Premio Trajano a la Mejor Iniciativa Empresarial Andaluza (Trajano Award to the best business enterprise) in 2002, awarded by the newspaper El Mundo and the Confederación de Empresarios de Andalucía (Andalusian Businessmen's Association). Likewise, the company has reached the final in two editions of the Príncipe Felipe awards on Business Excellence. With its entrance in the Picasso Museum’s Council of Sponsors, Novasoft advances in its Corporate Social Responsibility policy, reinvesting part of its revenues in order to improve the environment and quality of life for everybody.
