Within Novasoft´s Sustainable policy we would like to demonstrate on an international level our compromise with the world that surrounds us, and as a result of this arises our adhesion to the United Nation´s Global Compact.
In the said compact, the bodies that sign up promise voluntarily to promote and implant 10 Universal Principles that are structured on four basic pillars: Human Rights, Labour Standards, the Environment and the Fight against Corruption. These principles, which Novasoft has decided to integrate into its company strategy, can be listed in the following way:1. Companies, within their areas of influence, must support and respect the protection of internationally recognized basic human rights.
2. Companies must make sure that they are not involved in the infringement of human rights.
3. Companies must support freedom of association and recognize the right to collective negotiation.
4. Companies must support the elimination of all forms of forced labour or labour carried out under duress.
5. Companies must support the eradication of child labour.
6. Companies must support the abolition of work and employment discrimination policies.
7. Companies must maintain a preventative focus that favours the environment.
8. Companies must encourage initiatives that promote greater environmental responsibility.
9. Companies must favour the development and promotion of technology that is respectful with the environment.
10. Companies must work against all forms of corruption, including extorsion and bribery.
